Dear Rescue Group,
The Park Bench Café has well established itself as one of the most dog friendly restaurants in California. With our location in Huntington Beach’s Central Park, we have the perfect outdoor setting enabling dogs and their owners the unique privilege and experience of dining together at breakfast or lunch. Our Canine Cuisine dog menu and the Doggy Dining area are bound to put a smile on your face and to have your dog’s tail wagging.
Over the past several years a variety of Dog Rescue groups have caught on to the novel idea of holding their monthly meetings at our Cafe. These meetings have expanded into having small fundraisers at the Park Bench Cafe while also dining with their pets. The fundraisers have added valued revenue to these Rescue groups. Although presented differently by each group, most sell items specific to their dog breed from a booth they have set up. They also have raffles, with the prizes being items that have been donated to their organization. The Park Bench has been able to accommodate and assist these fundraisers in their amazing success.
All of us at the Park Bench Café want to continue our support for your Dog Rescue group by helping you with your fundraising. We have arranged for a pet photographer to take professional photos or your dog for a small fee. The photographer in turn will donate part of that fee back to your rescue group. This Pet Photography Company will be scheduled on selective dates throughout 2006. We are currently taking bookings for rescue groups, however, the dates are limited and space fills up quickly. We encourage you to call us to reserve you date for this popular event.
We continue to be dedicated to assisting the rescue organizations that do the tireless front-line work of finding homes for animals in need. We are proud and honored to provide the venue of generating funds that help ease the costs of operating your rescue group. And hopefully, The Park Bench Café will help bring more awareness to rescue groups everywhere.
